So things are going pretty well. Starting next week I'm going to be getting more hours at the office and I've been working more at the izzle much to my chagrin, but I suppose it's easy money.
The biggest development was the purchase of this little treasure

Alright I don't really have the time or energy to totally update about everything that I've done for the past week or so...so here's the abbreviated version.
I went to Canada which was, as always, a good time.
I picked up a shift at the restaurant this week and made half of my Target credit card bill payment for the month which was good.
My parents are still driving me insane.
My sanity is going to be totally gone after Saturday when Amanda goes back to school.
I am laying the groundwork for my lie about why I need to go back to school early, it's brilliant folks, trust me.
....and tonight I unfortunatley will be working instead of partying up in Mount Pleasant. I assure you, if there was any way that I could get there tonight I would do it but I won't be getting off of work until like 11 and it's a 2 and a half hour drive back there and I dont think my parents would so much go for that...so I will be partying with some friends from home.
I hope everyone has a fantastic end to 2003!

It's time for a hella fucking long entry!

Whew, that was hella long, moving on to some actual stuffs:
Saturday I went to Carsonville to pick up the lovely and talented likeawoman and run_jane_run and we drove down to Lakeside to meet tig3rlily. There was much fun to be had. Poor Corinne got stuck in traffic which was a bummer but she made it eventually. We harrassed the poor man in Franklin Covey and the girls created a brilliant distraction while I updated LJ from the computer in there that is really only supposed to be for demonstration. It was classic. We went to FYE and played in the arcade. I came home sporting a fancy new Chinese finger trap. ericz met us down there and we all went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's after shopping for a while. I bought a really cute sweater from AE to wear to church on Christmas Eve...bah. Eric left us and the girls and I went to see Mona Lisa Smile which was the quintissential chick flick. It was really good and touching and all that jazz. Plus Topher Grace which sent Corinne and I into giggling fits cause he's just sooo cute. By the time we got out of the damn parking lot and back on the road it was getting late so Vikki and Rachel stayed at my house for the night which was fun. It's always good to have others experience the wonder that is the thumb first hand. After Vikki's very extended sleep I took them back to their car and said our tearful goodbye...ok so it wasn't tearful but it was damn sad.
On the way back I picked up zechal and we hung out all day yesterday and into today. Port Huron was fucking packed last night and severely pissed me off. But then we went to Meijer and bought cocktail shrimp and that made everything all better :) Tonight is the Christmas party at the Landing so I am hoping to get fairly intoxicated cause that's what office Christmas parties are all about right? I think I might go take a nap now cause I woke up early (for me...being 11). Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve!!! haha

Ok so my plan of slacking + partying did not leave me in too bad a position. I think next semester I might have to try a touch harder but other than that I am pretty satisfied with how this all went down.

This is such quality...
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the dorm
Students were sleeping, it was cozy and warm
Stockings on the floor, shoes on the sill
All was quiet, all was still
When out on the lawn, what did I hear?
4 whiney dudes, all drinking beer
First singing carols, at the top of their lungs
Then on a ladder, to the top of it's rungs
Opening a window, in they did climb
We screamed an expletive, with spit it did rhyme
They went straight to work, not saying a word
Three loser jerks and one geeky nerd
Did they take some undies, maybe a pair?
No they took the computer and an old blue chair!
Crammed out the window, down it did fall
followed by them, geeky nerd and all
We sat there stunned, not believing our eyes!
What just happened, who were those guys?
Should we call someone, what should we do?
They'll never believe us, this is CMU!
So we closed the window and all took a vow
To make up a story and this is how:
We'll keeep the first part, including the ladder
The guys will be hunks and definietly badder
They DID steal our undies, more than one pair
We gave them our numbers, just on a dare
And after the break, we're sure they will call
One for each roomate, the tall and the small
Yeah, that sounds better, it's all we need

I could teach you, but I'd have to charge...
Last week was probably the worst week of my academic life. I have never felt so rushed and so illequipped to do anything about it than last week. If you've been talking to me, which I'm sure you have if you're reading this you have been, you know what's going on so I won't bore you with the details again.
On to more fun things:
Tuesday night I went over to Rachel's instead of doing something productive like writing a paper/reading a book/oragami and got very drunk. Safe to say this is the drunkenst I've been since the whole southern comfort debaucle with Becki last winter. I went shot for shot with Rob which led to my triumphant victory in all things alcoholic. Yeah, that's right...I beat a boy at shots mmhmmmmm.
Then it was followed with a few days of meaningless tests and whatnot and they were boring for me to take so I'm sure they'd be boring for you to read about, so I'll leave it at that.
Last night umm yeah. The details of last night are a little hazy. I would like to say that I have a new string of beads hanging over my rear view mirror, they're so pimp. I woke up with them, I vaguely remember getting them too so that's good. I got in a fight with Rob last night and figured that the best way to retaliate was to go in his room and put on a bunch of his clothes at one time. I came out in all of my clothes plus about 5 of his shirts and his pants. It was all very amusing. For those of you who weren't there or who were there and were passed out, I'm sorry. That was some funny shit. Anyways, people started leaving, I remember people talking about video game music and then all the lights were off and i was like shit...people are sleeping now. So I went with it and now I'm back home, tired, with a headache, updating my livejournal cause I'm sweet like that. I may very well go take a nap now so I can ready myself for whatever the night may bring!

This is my weekend...
A current update. I have been sleeping all day. I think it is due to the fact that I didn't go to sleep until sometime around 6. I am still in my pajamas but that is going to change soon...no really....I promise. This weekend has been very enjoyable. I have been sufficiently buzzed for three nights in a row. I am still mulling over going out again but I don't know if my liver can take a whole lot more. I am going home on Tuesday this week because my class got cancelled on Wednesday cause my psych prof must have had the giant insect lodged in her anus removed. So I will be home for a few days which will be nice. I am going to try to work a day or two so that I might have some money to go shopping with. I really think that the people from Ronan are going to call me and want to hire me and want to pay me and all that good stuff. That would be an exceptional place for me to work seeming as how it's only right across the street.
*On a side note* even though driving to Saginaw at 2am to go get a bagel sounds like fun, it may not be the most practical of all drunken ideas even with a dd.
